Although novel #1 is still officially unnamed, I've decided on a likely title for novel #3.
Du du du du.... [DRUMROLL]
I have decided to call it... (yeah, yeah, get on with it, I know)
Sadaar. Yep, that's it.
Sadaar.
Sounds cool, right? If you want to read about how I found it, go here.
Tell me your opinion.

A Terse Post With a Rather Wordy Title
I only have one* thing to say;
Page 50 (on novel #3) Accomplished. Bring it on, writer's block, 'cause you're going to find a brick wall.
Jake
*Actually, it was two

1000th Email
Today, I struck the 1000th mark on the amount of non-SPAM email I've gotten. The first email I ever recieved goes as follows, from my little sister Lucy;
On Nov 29, 2007 1:13 PM, Lucy Buller <[Lucy's email adress]> wrote:
hello this is weight watchers you have a big problemo.
Oh... I get the chuckles every time I read that email.
The 1000th email I receive was a link to an article about Topeka, Kansas, unofficially changing it's name to Google (wasn't that weird?).
Anyway, that's about the only bloggable thing I have for today.

It's FINALLY Warming Up!
Believe it or not, spring is on the way, to save the dying grass, revive the bare trees, and bring peace and prosperity to the world in general*.
So take off your sweatshirts, and the long thermal underwear**, and bask in the 60 degree weather! .... ..... What do you mean it's supposed to get down in the 40s this week!?!? *sigh*.
Well, enjoy it while you can... ***

*Well, at least our yard.
**Who wears thermal underwear, anyway?
***Oops, looks like the temputure is down in the 40s already...

Teenage Writer
Today, I made a writing blog I christened 'Teenage Writer'. It took Alex and I forever to get all these different widgets right, make a banner, make a three column, etc, but we managed to get it done. If you want to find out more about Teenage Writer, trek on over to www.teenagewritingrocks.blogspot.com. I'll actually probably be blogging there a lot more often than I'll blog here. So check it out, it's pretty awesome, if I might say so.
If you look at my sidebar, you'll even see the official 'Teenage Writer' banner. It took seven websites and numerous failures until Alex and I got it right, but we did it. It actually looks cool. Anyway, that pretty much wraps up this post.
See ya,
Jake

What's Happened
Okay, I admit it... I have been avoiding my blog like the plague. Not only have I had nothing to blog about, but
- Mom has been gone to Africa (See her blog for details) and
- Grandma and Grandpa Buller have been keeping us busy. We went to all sorts of places. The Money Museum at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, and the Harry S. Truman Museum in Independence, Missouri, to name two.
- Plus that, I've been reading a lot (THAT'S a surprise) and I've been tired. Does anyone else have trouble getting to sleep until around 12:00-1:00 AM? I think it's called the T.S. Plague (Talking Sisters).
- To top things off, I've been listening to tobyMac's new album, Tonight, nonstop. It is my favorite album of all time. Seriously.
- And then there's been the #3 novel. I'm doing well on it, I suppose, in terms of length, but I'm at a part in the book where my writing's getting a little stinky. I'll tell you when I get to page 50.
That's about it. Meanwhile, a book and and an album are luring me from the computer, not to mention supper. Mmmm, pre-cooked, frozen, homemade chicken, made by Mom shortly before her trip. Yippee.
